Opalescence is a 45% carbamide peroxide clinical tooth whitening tray-applied for the fastest and safest results (under clinical dental supervision).

With rapid application of the highly concentrated formulation, it is able to provide fully supervised clinical treatment with the typical simplicity of bucket administration. Patients are supervised in the waiting room for only half an hour while their teeth are comfortably whitened.

As a general rule, final results are obtained after 3 or 4 sessions; you can also apply Opalescence Quick as an initial whitening treatment or for touch-ups.

Opalescence treatment guidance:

• Indicated for customised splint whitening. Ideal for internal stains that need to be treated intensively, e.g. after the use of drugs such as tetracyclines.

Instructions for use of the teeth whitening system:

• After taking the impression and fabricating the new splint, apply the gel with 45% carbamide peroxide (~15% H2O2) inside the tray and then fit it over the teeth.
• During the application (approximately 30-60 minutes), the patient can remain in the waiting room of the clinic.
• Thanks to its high viscosity, the gel does not drip and remains inside the splint, whitening stained teeth.
• The PF (potassium nitrate and fluoride) formula of Opalescence Quick 45% minimises sensitivity and strengthens the enamel.
