Dental ceramics, also known as porcelain, are made up of non-metallic inorganic elements, metal oxides obtained through the action of high temperatures, resulting in a solid, biocompatible, aesthetic, insoluble and extremely hard piece with a low number of pores and high resistance.
It is widely used by dentists to create biocompatible crowns and bridges for the patient.
