The root canal sealing cement is responsible for covering the dentin or the root canal in endodontic treatments, as well as for filling irregularities.

In general, it is presented as a paste in automix syringes, composed of materials such as calcium hydroxide, polyepoxy resin, with or without eugenol, zinc oxide.
