Kuraray Clearfil AP-X Universal Radiopaque Composite

Light-curing microhybrid resin composite. Clearfil AP-X is a highly aesthetic composite containing a new organic filler with high clarity and excellent light diffusion, a new thin filler with high radiopacity and polishability, a high refractive index matrix (filler content: 78% by weight, 66% by volume).

Characteristics of Clearfil AP-X Universal Composite:

• Elasticity equal to dentine:16700 Mpa
• Excellent radiopacity for X-ray evaluation due to its high percentage of barium glass particles.
• 86% Inorganic landfill
• Excellent colour matching.
• It does not adhere to any instrument or contact matrix.
• High wear resistance.
• Excellent polishability, the high number of fine filler particles (smallest 0.04 μm) provides excellent polishability.
• Low polymerisation shrinkage, the risk of postoperative sensitivities and secondary caries due to marginal leakage is limited.
• Excellent physical properties, making it a perfect product for both anterior and posterior restorations.
• Formulated with optimum viscosity for easy application.
• Contents: 4.6 g syringe A2 shade.

• Class I, II, V restorations of posterior teeth.
• Class III, IV, V restorations of anterior teeth.
• Cervical cavities or defects involving root surfaces.
