Dentaflux Phosphoric Acid Etching Gel

Dentaflux 37% phosphoric acid is an etchant for enamel and dentine conditioning. The acid etchant gel is easy to apply, due to its syringe format with tips included to provide greater precision on the enamel, even reaching difficult areas. It has a medium viscosity texture for easy application and high water solubility for easy washing.

Characteristics of Phosphoric Acid:

• Phosphoric acid 37% for enamel and dentine conditioning.
• Demineralises tooth enamel and creates micropores that allow the bonding of restorative materials.
• They allow a clear identification of the gel on the tooth.
• Easy to apply as it includes tips for greater precision. Single-use tips.
• With Luer Lock closure to ensure tightness of the cap and correct fixation of the tip.
• Medium viscosity to avoid unwanted gel displacement.
• High water solubility. Does not stain enamel and dentine.
• Available in 4 x 3.5 g syringes, 3 x 3.5 g syringes or 1 x 12 g syringe.
• Available in green and blue.
• The 3 formats include 6 application tips.

Phosphoric acid use considerations:

• Acts in 30 seconds.
• It is recommended to use a rubber dam during application.
• Avoid contact with eyes and skin.

Uses for phosphoric acid:

• Composite restorations, in which the tooth enamel is etched and the dentine can be conditioned.
• Crack sealing.
• Cementation of brackets.
• Immobilisation with splints.
• Various adhesive cementations (inlays, veneers, crowns, lab-made composite or ceramic restorations, etc).
