Characteristics of PGA Sutures:

Braided suture with polyglycolic acid fibres.
Resorbable.
It can be used in cases where it is not necessary to remove stitches and in very delicate tissues.
Suitable for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation.
Perfect for use in ophthalmic procedures.
Not recommended for use in cardiovascular and neurological procedures.
Highly pointed needle for surgeries with perfect aesthetic results.
Tip with 2 thin cutting sides.
It produces inflammation in the tissues, which is followed by a gradual encapsulation of the suture by fibrous connective tissue.
Re-absorption time: 50 to 90 days.
Tensile strength: 75% in the second week and 35% in the third week.
Strand length: 45 cm.
