Last time Robert, Product Manager of Medicaline, visited we learned first hand the new products for endodontics. Find out in these videos what are the features of the mConic Easy and mConic Flex rotary files and the new mSealer conduit sealer.
Rotary files
The new rotary files mConic Flex and mConic Easy have been developed by Medicaline to instrument the entire canal during endodontics. These sequences of files that we propose to you seek to help you to optimize your time of work in clinic and to obtain the best results with less files.
Endodontic files mConic Flex
The mConic Flex files are a sequence of nickel-titanium files that have a thermal coating to achieve greater flexibility when entering the duct. Coronal opening can be done with the SX file and with the help of sequence S1, S2, F1, F2, F3 the procedure can be completed. They are characterized by having the tip inactive and by being very flexible, as its name indicates.
Endodontic files mConic Easy
With mConic Easy, Medicaline offers a sequence of files with a quadrangular section, cutting on the sides. The serpentine movement reduces cyclic fatigue and fractures of the file inside the duct. The files X1, X2 and X3 provide a high degree of conicity within the canal. This is an advantage, because with few files you would have instrumented the entire duct. To get the best results from these files it is important to practice the Crown Down technique. This technique consists of brushing 3 times inside the duct, then cleaning the file and repeating the process. Roberto points out that, according to the manufacturer's instructions, each file can be used 4 to 6 times per conduit. Both mConic Easy and mConic Flex files have a speed of 300rpm and 2 torque.
Root Canal Sealer by mSealer
During the last phase of the root canal you have to seal the gutta-percha. To do this, Medicaline has created a sealer mSealer. This sealer is a calcium phosphate based epoxy resin packaged in a dual dispenser, which integrates the base and catalyst.
The mSealer sealer is an excellent option to use in your clinic, as it gives you ample working time, thanks to its fluidity and easy handling. Additionally for your patients it will be an excellent option because it is highly radiopaque and bactericidal. All without discomfort, because it is biocompatible with the body.
Now that you know Medicaline's mConic Flex and mConic Easy files, remember that you can complement your endodontic treatment with Medicaline's mSealer root canal sealer.
