Vinylpolysiloxane Silicone for Express 2 Impression Taking

Features of Express 2 silicones:

  • Vinylpolysiloxane silicone (VPS) for mixing and dispensing with Garant Gun for taking impressions.
  • Indications:
    • Impressions for crowns and bridges.
    • Prints for inlays and onlays.
    • Quick-setting models for one or two pieces.
  • Express 2 silicones should not be used in conjunction with condensation silicones.
  • Especially useful in restorations with the Lava crown and bridge system.
  • Time:
    • Light Flow: Working time of 2' and setting time of 1'.
    • LIGHT Working time of 2' and setting time of 1'.
    • Light Flow Fast Setting: Working time of 1'30'' and setting time of 40''.
    • Quick setting. Working time of 1'30'' and setting time of 40''.
    • Ultra-Light Fast Setting: Working time of 1'30'' and setting time of 40''.
  • Disinfection must be carried out by immersion for 10 min. or a 2% glutaraldehyde solution.
  • The heavy models include 10 green mixing tips for heavy and yellow for light.

Express 2 Light Features:

  • Great hygrophilicity, tenacity and flow properties.
  • Good spill resistance.
  • Recovery after elongation almost 100%.

  • Void-free prints thanks to its good hydrophilic properties and flow behavior.
  • Low print distortion thanks to its elastic recovery.
  • High resistance to tearing.
