Description

Dental Impression Silicone for V-Posil Automatic System

V-Posil is a vinylpolysiloxane (VPS) -based impression material with high hydrophilicity, which provides intraoral structures with good wetting behaviour for maximum precision.

It combines a variable extraoral manipulation time with a short setting time in the patient's mouth, which makes the process more efficient. It has a high tenacity to safely pull the impression out of the mouth and its elastic recovery helps to maintain the accuracy of the impression.

Features of V-Posil silicone:

  • High precision vinyl polysiloxane (VPS) silicone for mixing and dispensing by automatic mixing machine.
  • Indications:
    • Heavy Soft: Double mixing techniques (one time), impression correction (two times) and functional impressions.
    • Putty: Impression correction techniques (two times), sandwich (one time), impression correction techniques with application of a space-maintaining sheet and as an impression material for functional peripheral sealing.
    • Monophase: impression material for trays or as injectable impression material for...
      • Overprints for combined prosthetics and implants (transmission of impression posts and primary parts).
      • Functional impressions.
      • Crown and bridge technology / and inlay rehabilitation
      • Impressions of removable prostheses.
      • Impressions for overshoots.
      • Transfer of root pins for the fabrication of indirect core build-ups.
      • Multi tray technique.
      • Double-mixing technique, sandwich technique and impression correction technique with the use of a space-holding foil.
  • High resistance to breakage and great elasticity.
  • Very hydrophilic.
  • Time:
    • Heavy Soft: mixing time of 2' and setting time in the mouth of 2'.
    • Putty: mixing time of 1'30'' and setting time in the mouth of 2'30''.
    • Monophase: mixing time of 2', intraoral time of 1' and setting time in the mouth of 2'.
  • Final hardness achieved:
    • Heavy Soft: 55 Shore A.
    • Putty: 63 Shore A.
    • Single phase: 58 Shore A.
