VDW RECIPROCAL FILES
These files use the reciprocal technique for the preparation of root canals with a single instrument. In reciprocal technique, the instrument is first driven in a cutting direction and then a reverse rotation occurs to release the instrument in question. A 360 ° rotation is completed with several reciprocal movements. The angle in the cutting direction is greater than the angle in the reverse direction, so that the instrument continuously advances towards the apex. The angles of the reciprocal technique are precise and specific for the design of the RECIPROC® instrument and the VDW endodontic motors. They have been designed to be lower than the angle adjustments, where the elasticity limit of the instrument would be reached, which minimizes the risk of instrument fracture.
The RECIPROC® system offers three sizes of instruments for the preparation according to the types of root canal. RECIPROC® instruments are ready for use in a sterile blister pack and are simply disposed of after use.
- Made of Ni-Ti (nickel alloy with titanium).
- 11mm short mandrel.
- Pre-sterilized in blister pack.
- Avoid cross-contamination.
- It can not be autoclaved due to the handle.
- Greater flexibility and resistance to fatigue.
- Box of 6 files R25 (for narrow ducts).
