Kromopan Chromatic Dental Alginate

Kromopan is a chromatic alginate with high dimensional stability (unalterable precision within 100 hours). Therefore, it is used in those applications where a longer working time is necessary, especially indicated for taking impressions of: removable prostheses, antagonists in fixed and removable prostheses, preliminary models and study models.

The first alginate with chromatic phase indicator (Lascod patent): violet -> pink -> white. This allows alginate to be mixed correctly and to be introduced into the mouth at the right time.

Use of Kromopan Chromatic Dental Alginate:

• The violet colour indicates the mixing time.
• The pink colour indicates the time for the preparation of the impression tray.
• White colour the time for introduction into the oral cavity.
• The setting time in the mouth is only 30 seconds.
• It can be disinfected by immersion in specific solutions according to the manufacturer's instructions.
