IPS e.Max CAD cerec/inLab Ceramic Blocks
IPS e.Max CAD is a glass-ceramic block, lithium disilicate (LS2) for CAD / CAM technology.
Its innovative and unique system is capable of combining high aesthetic quality with great ease of use. Unlike other CAD / CAM materials, IPS e.Max CAD can cover a wide range of indications. Additionally, its blocks have a high range of translucency values, colors, and sizes that offer great flexibility, and the coordinated, tested, and proven cementation materials complement the system.
The material provides a proven and efficient solution for the production of lithium disilicate restorations in the dental laboratory. IPS e.max CAD is based on the metal-free IPS e.max ceramic system.
IPS e.max CAD has the widest range of indications on the market for CAD/CAM glass ceramics. Thanks to the high strength (530MPa) of the lithium disilicate glass ceramic, crowns can be produced for: veneers (≥ 0.4 mm), occlusal veneers (Table tops) ≥1.0 mm, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, three-piece bridges, hybrid abutments, crowns with hybrid abutments, and veneer solutions on zirconia structures.
The hybrid abutment restorations made of IPS e.max CAD show exceptionally high fit accuracy, excellent bonding strength, and lasting aesthetics thanks to the natural tooth color range of the colored hybrid abutments. The IPS e.max CAD A14 and A16 blocks are used to produce hybrid abutments (individual abutments) and hybrid abutment crowns (abutment and crown monolithic in one piece). The abutments feature a prefabricated interface for extraoral connection with a titanium base (e.g., Dentsply Sirona Ti-Base).
A color block suitable for virtually any clinical situation. Restorations can be customized using the makeup, cutback, or layering technique.
