XP-Endo Finisher R:

The XP-endo® Finisher R is designed for retreatment cases. In the initial treatment, the root filling materials are pushed into the canal irregularities. These materials cover the microbial infection and must be removed to effectively disinfect the duct. It is not possible to remove these materials and bacteria with standard NiTi files, especially if there is a bend in the canal.

Features of the XP-endo Finisher R file:

• Based on the shape memory principles of the MaxWire alloy and thanks to its flexibility.
• The XP-endo Finisher R is capable of expanding and contracting with an improved range of 6 mm in diameter or about 100 times compared to a standard instrument of the same size.
• Its ability to expand and its crescent shape allows it to access and clean areas that were previously impossible to reach.
• It has a larger core diameter (ISO 30) than the XP-endo® Finisher (ISO 25), making it slightly stiffer and more efficient at removing root filling materials adhering to the canal walls, especially in the curvature or oval areas.
• Thanks to its small core size and zero taper, the file offers incredible flexibility and exhibits unmatched resistance to cyclic fatigue.
• It can contact and scrape the surface of the dentine and/or root filling material without changing the original shape of the canal.
• This universal instrument should be used as a follow-up to any retreatment case with an ISO 30 diameter or larger.
