Endodontics is a procedure that consists of cleaning the diseased interior tissue of the tooth and completing it again with biocompatible material in order to preserve the tooth, the bone and the gum. When a root canal is performed, infected tissues where the nerves are located are removed and replaced with another material, ending infections and sensitivity of the tooth.

What are the existing types of endodontics? Depending on the type of tooth affected we can find:
