iPex II Advanced Apex Locator

Features of iPex II:

• High root apex detection capability, providing a clear and precise image of the file location.
• Measurements are achieved through SmartLogic technology that combines two different frequencies, reducing noise that interferes with the signal.
• The SmartLogic system uses a waveform system to analyse the extracted frequency, achieving constant measurements and providing full control over the file insertion progress.
• Enables safe, accurate and efficient root canal procedures.
• For integration with Endo-Mate TC2, Endo-Mate DT2 or NSK contra-angle endodontic instruments.
• Lightweight and with a small base of 6 cm in diameter, it can be placed anywhere.
• It has a tri-colour LCD display so that:

1. When the file is introduced into the root canal, the progress is shown in a bar graph, reflecting the location of the file as it descends.
2. As it approaches the root apex the bars turn blue and the warning sound increases in intensity and speed, warning when it enters the precision zone of approximately 0.5 mm.
3. When the file reaches the apex, the display shows "0.0" and a continuous tone appears.
4. If the apex is exceeded, a rapid and continuous warning is emitted, together with the word "APEX" in red and "OA" in blue.
