Pure Zinc Oxide for Dental Cements
Dentaflux Zinc Oxide is a component designed to react with Eugenol to produce a zinc eugenate salt which forms a matrix. This matrix is used as a cement and is characterised by being non-aggressive and non-irritating. It is therefore ideal for cases where there is a risk of sensitivity. In addition, it is highly biocompatible even on direct pulp.
Characteristics of Dentaflux Pure Zinc Oxide:
- Reacts together with Dentaflux Eurgenol to produce zinc salt eugenate.
- It is characterised by being non-aggressive and non-irritant.
- It is capable of producing highly biocompatible cements, even on direct pulp.
- It produces resorbable cements with low resistance to attack by body fluids.
