How to use the Mayo Hegar Needle Holder?
- With a clamp grasp the suture thread attached to the needle
- With the dominant hand hold the needle holder, insert the ring finger and thumb into the holes of the instrument and use the index finger as a support.
- You can also hold the needle holder without inserting your fingers into the holes of the needle holder, holding them with the last three fingers of your hand and using your index finger as a support.
