Jiffy polishers are abrasive cups, discs and tips made of silicone rubber impregnated with silicon carbide and aluminium oxide particles. They are designed with a counter-angled shank and are available in various shapes and grits for finishing and polishing any composite.
They are used after shaping and smoothing of composite restorations by means of diamond burs and multiwire carbide burs, sandpaper discs, etc.

How to use Jiffy Polishers:
Insert the instrument in the mouth before rotation to avoid injury.
Make sure it rotates before touching the tooth or dental material.
Water cooling can be used if desired.
Use only in the indicated direction/mode.
It is recommended that the polishing time should not exceed 15 seconds and should be carried out in intermittent or tapping mode.
