Surgical instruments
The instruments used in dental surgery are highly varied and are designed to carry out dental surgical procedures. Some instruments are specific to oral surgery, while many others come from general surgery or its specialities, as well as from dentistry itself. In this article, we will discuss simple surgical instruments, which are those handled directly by the surgeon, i.e. manual instruments that do not involve significant technological complexity.
