Description
SDI Amalgam Mixer Ultramat S
Ultramat S has a highly accurate, microprocessor-controlled time meter that provides accurate shredding, ensuring optimum handling and clinical characteristics of the blended materials.
It is designed for continuous operation. The continuous duty cycle is 30 operations of 8 seconds per hour.
Features of the Ultramat S Amalgamator:
- Very easy to use, only has 3 buttons.
- Three time setting options: 6, 8 and 10 seconds. That allow you to mix all your encapsulated materials.
- The unit can be stopped at any time by pressing these buttons during operation or only by lifting the lid.
- Very easy to clean.
- The smooth surface of the cover makes cleaning easier for infection control.
- The non-porous plastic surface can be cleaned with any dental disinfectant.
- Ultramat S includes a microprocessor-controlled oscillating timer for accurate and consistent shredding.
- Dual voltage.
- The Ultramat S operates with voltages between 100-120 and 220-240V, 50 and 60 Hz. It is compatible with multiple power voltages and frequencies.
- Low vibration and extremely quiet.
- Unlike some amalgamators, Ultramat S has a low noise production device. Minimal vibration of all external parts ensures that it will not move out of position.
- Low power consumption indicator and shutdown function.
- If the power supply falls outside the required ranges of 100-120V and 220-240V, the power indicator will flash blue and the unit will not operate until the proper power range is supplied. This prevents the materials from not mixing properly.
- Weight: 2.43 Kg.
- Dimensions: Width 217 mm, depth 173 mm and height 180mm
- Contents: 1 amalgamator, 1 power cable and 1 3 mm Allen key for removing the transport screw.
Safety features of Ultramat S:
- When the transparent lid is opened, Ultramat S will immediately stop the mixing of materials.
- Suitable for all your capsules.
- The flexible fork can be fitted to a number of capsules with round ends (amalgam capsules), and also to those with protruding mouthpieces (cemented capsules).
- High energy efficiency and low energy input
- It has a mixing frequency of 4550 oscillations per minute (+/-1%). The Ultramat S guarantees a complete mixing of any dental material. However, it produces relatively low energy consumption.
How to use Ultramat S:
1. Connect the cable to the amalgamator and the plug. Make sure that the mains power supply is live.
2. Position the amalgamator so that the switch on the unit is easily accessible or the plug can be removed from the socket.
3. Turn on the switch at the back of the amalgamator. A blue light indicates that power is required (100-120 and 220-240 V, 50 and 60 HZ). If the power is not sufficient, the blue light will flash and the amalgamator will not work.
4. Lift the protective cap and insert the capsule into the fork. Capsules with an applicator tip (e.g: Riva / Set) have to be positioned with the applicator on the left.
5. Fit the protective cover.
6. Press one of the buttons 6, 8 or 10 seconds to start mixing. Please note that to interrupt the process, you must open the protective cover or press any of the buttons 6, 8 or 10 seconds.
*It is recommended to switch off the amalgamator at the end of the working sessions.
