Description

Range of ultrasonic inserts and tips compatible with Satelec systems, designed for prophylaxis and clinical scaling. Their selection of geometries allows for everything from routine supragingival scaling to the removal of large calculus deposits or the elimination of extrinsic stains.

The available configurations cover the most common needs in the clinic: the universal tip No. 1 for simple cases and general scaling; the No. 1S Slim, more streamlined for easier access and controlled work in cervical areas and shallow pockets; the flat No. 2 for quickly removing large accumulations of calculus with spray; and No. 3 with a rounded, beaver-tail tip for removing coffee, tea, or tobacco stains without damaging the enamel.

To optimize enamel safety and the effectiveness of the procedure, it is recommended to work tangentially to the tooth surface with controlled back-and-forth movements, adapting the power of the device to the type of deposit and the geometry of the selected tip.
