  • The cervical labiopalatine arch is easy to fix and is intended to secure the matrix between the papilla and the tooth subgingivally to increase the stability of the matrix after insertion.
  • Using a wedge to fix the matrix is possible, but not necessary.
  • Unica proximal matrices are particularly suitable for anterior restorations affecting the proximal walls:
    • Class III, IV.
    • Side incisors in the shape of a herringbone.
