Description
MyQuickmat Prime Anatomical Sectional Matrices
- Designed with an increased anatomical contour from cervical to occlusal, facilitating precise contact point placement and a natural anatomy.
- Uniform thickness of 0.04 mm allows for precise adaptation and easy handling during the procedure.
- Compatible with the myRing Prime, optimizing the restoration of Class II posterior cavities.
- Rigid, easy to polish, and maintain a stable fit, preventing displacement during the restoration.
The system is a prime example of simplicity, consisting of a retraction ring (myRing Prime), an end ring with an integrated wedge (myTines Prime), and a domed matrix for premolars and molars (Quickmat Prime anatomical sectional matrix).
By eliminating the wedge from the restorative procedure, the system is simpler, faster, and smarter than traditional sectional matrix systems. It shortens operating time and reduces wedge waste without compromising effectiveness. In short, it eliminates stress!
The stainless steel myRing Prime is bent to avoid interfering with adjacent teeth, while the myTines Prime, with its reusable and autoclavable wedge-shaped ends (or flamingo ends), provides effective bilateral separation of adjacent teeth, ensuring optimal cervical seal and matrix adaptation in both molars and premolars, as well as between premolars and molars. Its self-centering capability greatly simplifies placement, as the bilateral wedges naturally guide the positioning with minimal risk of failure. The end head adapts the matrix to ensure correct proximal curvature towards the marginal ridge. The ring + end design prevents the ring from slipping out of the proximal area, as can happen with other rings (the wedges hold it firmly in place).
The system also includes the rigid, easy-to-polish Quickmat Prime anatomical sectional matrices, available in a single thickness (0.04 mm) and a single shape for premolars and molars. The matrix has an increased contour from cervical to occlusal compared to other matrices, allowing for precise positioning of the contact point near the equator and a natural curved anatomy. The central upper tab facilitates matrix placement with or without myQuickmatrix Forceps or angled-tip forceps.
MyQuickmat Prime Advantages:
- Simplified posterior system that reduces operating time.
- Essential restorative elements: a single ring, a single ring end with integrated wedges, and a single domed matrix (no separate wedge required).
- Self-centering wedge ends: naturally guide the insertion, ensuring effective bilateral separation of adjacent teeth with optimal matrix adaptation and cervical seal.
- Ring stability: prevents the ring from dislodging.
- The cervical-to-occlusal domed matrix allows for precise positioning of the contact point near the equator.
- Without compromising effectiveness or performance: the result is easier and more natural restoration of proximal anatomy.
