• Given the tungsten’s hardness, said material is inserted into the tips of all Otto Leibinger cutting pliers.
• This material also has a longer lifespan than steel pliers.
• However, they are more sensitive to chemicals and require special treatment.

FOR THE PERFECT MAINTENANCE OF THE PLIERS WITH TUNGSTEN THE FOLLOWING MUST BE CONSIDERED:

• Use a cleaning solution that contains corrosion protector.
• Do not use ultrasonic cleaning devices, as they can splinter or completely take off the tungsten tips.
• After cleaning and before the sterilisation process, please make sure that the instruments are perfectly dry.
