The OMS Periodontal Probe is an essential instrument for the basic examination of caries and periodontium, developed using the CPITN method. It is ideal for diagnosing bleeding during curettage, supragingival and/or subgingival calculus, and overhanging obturation or crown. It is also effective for diagnosing periodontal pockets of 5 mm and more than 6 mm in depth. The handle is coated in silicone for a comfortable grip and features an integrated RFID chip for improved management in the clinic.
