Curetas Columbia Ergosense

Columbia curettes with double cutting surface are designed to remove moderate to abundant amounts of calculus from the supragingival and subgingival surfaces of the teeth.

Instrumentation with Gracey Curettes:

• To remove the stone, place one of the cutting edges of the universal curette against the tooth surface.
• Tilt the instrument toward the tooth until it forms a 70° to 80° angle between the tooth and the blade.
• Apply lateral pressure and activate the sickle by vertical, diagonal or horizontal movements.
• Simply tilt the instrument to one side or the other to use both cutting edges of the same curette.
