The range of EndoGuard burs KOMET from the brand KOMET help to get the best access to the root canals, thanks to its inactive tip and its excellent capacity transverse cut allows to enlarge the bottom of the pulp chamber avoiding perforations and guaranteeing a visibility and straight direct access to facilitate posterior instrumentation.

- NORMAL.(314
- Extra-long size (315) special design for use with endodontic microscope, facilitates visibility on the preparation.
Advantages of EndoGuard burs
-
Perfect access cavity: Creates access to the pulp chamber by removing excessive dentin from the side walls while preserving the chamber bottom, even in the deepest situations with the EndoGuard. Improves visibility, and facilitates the detection of radicular ducts. Straight access to the root system minimizes the risk of perforations and steps in the canal and file fracture.
- Protection of the bottom of the pulp chamber: Designed with a smooth inactive tip, the EndoGuard preserves the bottom of the pulp chamber, and prevents excessive removal of healthy tissue, which is vitally important in posterior restoration with posts and so on.
- No undercuts: Thanks to its conical shape, it avoids the involuntary preparation of angulations, steps and undercuts, thus ensuring that no residues of infected tissue remain within the pulp cavity.
