Characteristics of IPS INLINE/POM opaquer

  • IPS InLine PoM is a metal-injected ceramic.
  • The opaquers in paste are characterized by a fast and simple manipulation.
  • It allows professionals to provide an individual solution that favours the patient.
  • IPS InLine PoM can be injected onto alloys with a CTE in the range of 13.8 to 14.5 (25-500°C/77-932°F)
  • Thanks to the high translucency, the colour of the opaquer is more visible if the layer is too thin, which influences the colour of the tooth.
  • The opaquer is applied in two layers, always with a very fine first layer, which ensures improved wetting of the alloy surface.
  • The second layer completely masks the metal structure.
