Disposable face masks

Facemasks are one of the most commonly used products in the dental practice, we must use them for both patient contact and to maintain hygiene.
At Dentaltix we stock anatomical masks to suit the consumer, with valve or respirator, with elastics or tapes, rectangular or shell-shaped disposable latex masks in different colours, with or without fibreglass, disposable masks, surgical masks, FFP2 or children's masks.
Regarding the type of mask, we can distinguish between the following types:
- FFP1 without exhalation valve: this protective equipment provides minimal filtration, so it does not protect against infectious organisms, but only limits the spread of contagion.
- FFP2 with exhalation valve: it protects the wearer, but does not limit the spread of contagion.
- FFP2 without exhalation valve: protects the wearer and also limits the spread of contagion.
- FFP3 with exhalation valve: protects the user wearing it, but does not limit the spread of contagion.
- FFP3 without exhalation valve: protects the wearer and also limits the spread of contagion.
On the other hand, when selecting our masksit is important to know the differences between models:
- Disposable Hygienic Masks: made of TNT fabric, it is recommended not to wear them for more than 4 hours.
- Type II R Surgical Masks: ideal for both patients and healthcare workers, it is recommended not to wear them for more than 4 hours.
- Disposable FFP2 mask: An infected person wearing a non-valved FFP2 mask does not spread contagion to others as it retains the virus in the mask. It is recommended not to use them for more than 8 hours.
- High Protection FFP2 Masks for Children: They fit perfectly to the face without being uncomfortable, covering nose and chin. It is recommended not to use them for more than 4 hours.
All masks are approved and comply with the relevant quality certificate.
