HyFlex EDMs allow for multiple regenerations and re-use. Due to their innovative manufacturing process using electrical discharge machining, HyFlex EDM files have a unique surface and stand out for their durability and high fracture resistance. The totally unique combination of flexibility and fracture resistance makes it possible to reduce the number of HyFlex EDM files required for cleaning and shaping during root canal treatments without having to compromise the preservation of the root canal anatomy. Like stainless steel files, HyFlex EDM files can be pre-bent. This is a crucial advantage in extremely curved root canals to avoid the creation of steps.
Characteristics:
High fracture toughness and flexibility.
Preparing the central canal.
Regeneration and visual control for multiple and safe use.
Fast preparation with high cutting efficiency and reduced number of files.
Indications:
25/.12: Canal opening (400 rpm and 2.5 Ncm).
15/.03 and 10/.05: Permeabilization according to the anatomy of the canal (300 rpm and 1.8 Ncm).
20/.05: Preparation (400 rpm and 2.5 Ncm).
25/~OneFile: Forming (400 rpm and 2.5 Ncm).
40/.04: Finishing (400 rpm and 2.5 Ncm).
30/.07; Retreatment, indicated for the removal of the old filling, respecting the anatomy and with an inactive tip (2.5 Ncm, 400-800 rpm and C.Wire thermal treatment).
Safe thanks to its inactive tip
