The Octoplus needles are specially designed so that the injection of the anesthetic liquid is smoother than with a normal needle, this is because while its outer diameter is identical to that of a standard needle, its inner diameter is prepared to inject a dose with lower pressure. Thus, the needles created by Clarben have enabled the dentist to refine his technique and the injected flow better, offering better pressure for the patient.
