Cleanmed Suction is a disinfectant from BMS Dental that is characterised by its easy handling and high dosing accuracy. It has a broad spectrum of action against microorganisms and a pleasant aroma. It is an ideal product to guarantee the correct disinfection of endodontic drills and instruments.

Microbiological Properties of Cleanmed Instruments

Cleanmed Suction has action:

• Bactericide: S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, E. hirae within 15 minutes; S. typhimurium and L. pneumophila within 5 minutes.
• Levadicide: C. albicans in 15 minutes.
• Virucidal: HCV and HIV1 in 5 minutes; H1N1 and Human Influenza B virus in 2 minutes; Rotavirus A in 30 seconds.

How to use Cleanmed Instruments:

Indications for 2% solution:

• Step 1: Add 20 ml to 1 L of clean water.
• Step 2: Soak the instruments for 5 minutes (virucidal, bactericidal) or 15 minutes (fungicidal).
• Step 3: Rinse instruments thoroughly with RO or distilled water.

Considerations for the Use of Cleanmed Instruments:

• Do not exceed the recommended soaking times.
• For heavily soiled items, use a 4% solution (40 ml + 1 L water).
• Change the solution daily or weekly depending on usage.
• Do not use on alloyed materials, malleable iron or aluminium castings.
