Characteristics of Resorbable Haemostatic Sponges:

• Made of highly purified, pH-neutral pharmaceutical gelatine.
• This haemostatic absorbs 50 times its weight and attaches easily.
• It is easily trimmed and resorbs completely in 21-30 days.
• It can be applied dry or moistened with saline, and by pressing CuraSpon for 2-4 minutes on the surface, it controls bleeding and binds completely to the tissue surface, activating thrombocytes in the formation of fibrin.
• Once in place, it protects the wound bed and aids healing.
• It is used in the treatment of surgical wounds, extraction sockets, dental sores (viral or non-infected), mouth ulcers, suture beds, burns and traumatic wounds.
