• The Gracey curettes 12/13 and 11/14 prove to be particularly time-saving, since by using the 12/13 curettes on all mesio-distal surfaces in the area of the side tooth, e.g. in the first quadrant, it is possible to treat completely in the vestibular direction in one step without having to change the instrument. It is only with the change to the palatal direction that the 11/14 curette is used. The second quadrant begins, of course, with the 11/14 curette for mesio-distal in the vestibular direction, etc.
