The glass ionomer filling material Ketac Fil Plus is available in a manually mixed version or in the convenient Aplicap system, which offers easy handling, consistent working properties and reliable quality.

Characteristics of Ketac Fil Plus Aplicap:

  • Coefficient of expansion similar to tooth structure.
  • Radiopaco.
  • High fluoride release.
  • Ketac Fil Plus reduces the risk of secondary caries by releasing fluoride.
  • Available in different shades.
  • Content: 50 units.

Properties of Ketac Fil Plus

  • Long-lasting protection against caries.
  • Reduces the risk of secondary caries through the release of fluoride.
  • After treatment with 3M ESPE Vitremer and Ketac Fil Plus glass ionomers, patients at high caries risk showed significantly less secondary caries around the margins of their fillings than a control group with silver amalgam fillings.

Indications for Ketac Fil Plus

  • Class III and V permanent restorations.
  • Small permanent Class I restorations.
  • Temporary tooth fillings.
  • Crack sealing.
  • Fillings in cervical erosions.
