Dental instruments for students from the W&H Fusion range

W&H is an Austrian manufacturer of high quality, innovative and technologically advanced dental instruments and takes advantage of these benefits to offer a series of rotary instrument sets for dental students. This time, it’s offering two models equipped with Roto Quick Coupling RQ-14 and two different turbines to choose from, such as the Synea Fusion TG-98 and Synea Alegra TE-98 turbine. It is worth noting that the purchase of either kit includes a case and a bottle of oil spray for the maintenance of the equipment.

Characteristics of the Alegra TE-98 turbine kit:

• Alegra TE-98 Turbine: is a turbine with ceramic ball bearings, equipped with triple spray and push button for 1.6 mm diameter dental burs and has a 12.2 mm head diameter. It has a power output of 18 W along with a speed of 330,000 wrp. This turbine has a Roto Quick connection.
• Roto Quick Coupling RQ-14: is a connector for the transmission of elements with spray regulation, without light and a standard 4-way connection (type 2: Ritter Midwest). It is capable of 360° rotation, has a reaspiration lock, along with a lightweight and sterilisable design. Its versatility is due to its compatibility with all standard turbine hoses, air motors and Scaler scrapers with Roto Quick and Multiflex connection.
• Synea Fusion WG-56 A Contra-angle handpiece: suitable for cavity preparation, trepanning, resection, separating, cavity edge refinement and fillings. It is characterised by its monobloc design, a compact glass rod, good ergonomics and an anti-scratch coating. It has a 1:1 transmission with a speed of 40,000 rpm, single spray cooling, push-button clamping and an ISO 3964 coupling.
• Synea Fusion HG-43 A handpiece: designed for preparing, separating, trepanning, resection of anterior teeth as well as for other dental laboratory work. It has a 1:1 transmission, a single spray, a swivelling contra-angle sleeve and a 2.35 mm stem diameter. It has a maximum speed of 40,000 rpm, a maximum length of 34 mm for contra-angle handpieces and an ISO 3964 coupling.
• Air micromotor AM-25 A RM: high pulling force and power can be adjusted with right/left direction of rotation (360° rotation) with a maximum speed of 25,000 rpm. It is quiet, compact and lightweight, has an internal spray, and has a fixed connection to the standard 4-way hose.
• F1 oil bottle: a special oil to extend the life of dental instruments. Serves for the maintenance of W&H turbines, handpieces, scalers, contra-angle handpieces, air micro-motors and surgical instruments. The oil comes in a 400ml spray bottle.
• Spray head 22292: is a spray nozzle with B1 oil adapter for turbines, micro air motors and scalers, designed for the Roto Quick coupling system.
• Spray head 20382: is an adapter spray cap for B1 oil bottle for straight and contra-angle handpieces.
