Description
osstell idx equipment stability measurement for implants
to ensure the success and survival of implants, a good diagnosis of the patient's bone condition and density is essential. the osstell idx is an objective tool for measuring implant stability based on bone quality.
a non-invasive, fast and easy-to-use system, it also allows for post-treatment follow-up with the ability to evaluate osseointegration without affecting healing or risk of infection.
the acronym isq (implant stability quotient) is the evaluation unit set to determine the correct stability of the implant, this module by means of a resonance frequency analysis (rfa) applied to the bone manages to measure stability on an isq scale from 1 to 100 (khz):
- isq<60: low stability
- isq 60-65: medium stability
- isq >70: high stability
this makes it possible to control osseointegration throughout the clinical procedure and to select the optimal implant loading moment.
next to the osstell isq module are the single-use smartpegs, which are manufactured with great precision to measure the implant.
the documentation function allows you to easily store all values of the implant insertion on a usb stick
characteristics:
- assesses the stability of the implant and the degree of osseointegration
- reduces treatment time and objectively evaluates patients with risk factors
- easily interpret results through intuitive color coding based on the isq scale
- enables efficient communication with patients, and collaboration with other professionals
- ability to digitally extract and store data, share files and analyze implant and treatment data through osstell connect
- remote backup and support
- share patients among several idxs
