Description

Articular Paper in Strips

The Vidu Articular Paper allows the precise identification of the contact points between the upper and lower arches during occlusion analysis. It is available in different thicknesses to adapt to general checks to high-precision occlusal adjustments.

Characteristics of Articular Paper:

  • Made with a thin and tear-resistant material, helping to avoid incorrect contacts or blurry marks.
  • It offers excellent color transfer properties on wet surfaces.
  • Suitable for marking on different dental materials such as gold, ceramic, metal and acrylic.
  • Its intense colors allow a clear view of the contact points.
  • Available in 40 µm, 80 µm and 200 µm, allowing you to select the thickness depending on the level of precision and the chewing load you want to analyze.
  • The 200 µm thickness is especially suitable for an approximate analysis of occlusion with high chewing loads.
  • The 80 µm thickness is suitable for medium to intense chewing loads.
  • The 40 µm thickness allows for finer contacts to be seen during delicate occlusal adjustments.
  • Pre-cut format in strips for easy placement and use.
  • The 144-unit packs come in a 100% plastic-free container.
  • Content: available in presentations of 144 or 3000 units.

Indications for the Articular Role:

  • Identification of occlusal contact points between the upper and lower jaws.
  • Checking and adjusting the occlusion after dental restorations.
  • Analysis of the distribution of chewing pressure.
  • Detection of premature contacts or interference during occlusal adjustments.
  • Selective or unilateral bite tests.
  • Support in the analysis of functional disorders related to occlusion, such as bruxism.

How to use:

Place the strip of joint paper in the oral cavity, between the upper and lower arches. Then, ask the patient to close their mouth with light chewing pressure. During contact, the paper transfers color to the dental surfaces.

When removing the paper, the colored marks allow the contact points to be located and the distribution of the chewing pressure to assess the distribution of the chewing pressure to make the necessary adjustments.

Productos VIDU

How to manage waste generated with the Articular VIDU Paper?

After use in the mouth, the joint paper must be eliminated following the medical waste management protocol established in the clinic. As it is a single-use product that comes into contact with the patient, it should not be reused.

VIDU is continuously working to reduce the waste generated by its products. To compensate for the plastic footprint associated with its products, VIDU collaborates with RePurpose, an organization specialized in certified plastic waste recovery projects.

How to manage the packaging of this product?

Packaging components that are recyclable must be separated and deposited in their corresponding collection system. The 80 µm and 40 µm references use a 100% plastic-free container, thus reducing the amount of plastic waste associated with the product.

Where does the Articulating Role of VIDU come from?

One of VIDU's objectives is transparency, so the country of origin is specified in the packaging of its products. The selection of VIDU products seeks to maintain a balance between quality, sustainability and fair price.
