The silk sutures are made from the braiding of multiple natural silk filaments, previously treated to purify them and desengomarlos.

Silk suture is considered a non-absorbable material, however, because it is a protein material, it behaves as a long-term resorbable material, reabsorbing itself in the body after about two years.
