They have a 3.5 mm Ø head that provides sufficient surface area to prevent perforations or tears in the membrane. All Pro-Fix™ screws have a 4mm threaded portion for highly stable anchorage in the bone and a polished portion of 3mm, 4mm or 5mm depending on the desired size for precise space maintenance:

• 1.5 x 3mm (3mm polished neck + 4mm threaded portion = 7 mm total)
• 1.5 x 4mm (4mm polished neck + 4mm threaded portion = 8 mm total)
• 1.5 x 5mm (4mm polished neck + 4mm threaded portion = 9 mm total)
• 1.5 x 8mm (all threaded)
• 1.5 x 10mm (all threaded)
