• Minisickle for supragingival calculus removal, extra sharp
• Thin, slightly angled blade for all teeth

Periodontal Sickle Instrumentation:

• To remove calculus, place the third of the tip closest to the cutting edge of the sickle against the tooth.
• Tilt the instrument toward the tooth until it forms a 70° to 80° angle between the tooth and the blade.
• Apply lateral pressure and activate the sickle using vertical, diagonal, or horizontal movements.
• To maintain control, make short 2-3 mm movements.
