The Mini Gracey XSI Curettes are designed for the effective removal of deep subgingival calculus in targeted areas, facilitating the finishing of subgingival root surfaces.

Periodontal Instrumentation:

• Place the tip of a Gracey curette against the tooth surface at one-third or one-half of the cutting edge.
• The cutting edge is always the longer, outer curved portion.
• Ensure the lower cannon is parallel to the root surface.
• Apply moderate pressure to remove calculus and light lateral pressure for root planing, activating the curette with vertical, diagonal, or horizontal movements.

Design:

• Working surface inclined at 20° to the lower cannon.
• A curved cutting edge (line red).
• Rounded cutting tip.
