Komet in collaboration with Dr Günay, have created a set of instruments for crown preparation including instruments with a guide tip.

Features of the Komet-Dr Gunay Milling Machine:

• Controlled preparation of a defined crown margin.
• Even preparation avoiding the "gutter" effect.
• With guide point for controlled cutting with uniform depth of cut.
• With normal particle size for modelling and fine particle size for finishing.
• They allow a margin depth of 0.38 mm or 0.54 mm.
• Content: 10 polishers.

The different instruments are ideal for:

• To increase the milling depth in a preparation of an all-ceramic crown or a veneer crown.
• Platinum or lingual wear on anterior teeth that are to receive a crown.
• Polishing and rounding edges, corners and angles.
