Characteristics of photopolymerizable plastic for the production of dental prosthesis bases:

FotoDent is a photopolymerizable material designed for the production of denture bases and splints using 3D printing processes. This material offers high dimensional stability and precision in the results, ensuring excellent adaptation and comfort for the patient.

FotoDent resin is MMA-free, ensuring stable color and biocompatibility, making it safe for use in the oral cavity. In addition, splints made with FotoDent are unbreakable and have a homogeneous surface, making them ideal for bite and carving splints.

Technical characteristics of the system:

  • Hardness: 80 Shore D.
  • Elastic modulus:
  • Flexural strength: > 85 MPa.
  • Elongation at tensile, break and bend: 7%
  • Colour: Available in pink, opaque pink and transparent
  • Viscosity: Approximately 0,6 min.

The FotoDent is available in different shades and opacities, allowing customization according to the patient's needs. Its presentation in a 1 kg bottle facilitates its handling and storage in the dental clinic.
