Vitremer™ Glass Ionomer and Triple Polymerisation Restorative Kit

The Vitremer Kit is a glass ionomer system. It has triple polymerisation, which indicates its use as an aesthetic restorative and core build-up.

This system has three polymerisation reactions:

The first is an acid-base reaction of conventional glass ionomers. This allows for fluoride release, biocompatibility and optimal adhesion and retention. It is initiated by mixing powder and liquid and can be produced in the dark.

The second is a photopolymerisation of the methacrylate group. It starts with the mixture of powder and liquid being exposed to light. This allows longer working time and improves the physical properties, as well as finishing with immediacy.

The third is the polymerisation of the methacrylate group in the dark, starting at the moment of mixing between powder and liquid and occurring in the dark. This allows for mass placement of the product, ensuring polymerisation in deep areas and saving working time.

• Core build-up prior to crown placement
• Obturation of retentive areas in crown millings
• Class I and II restorations in primary teeth
• Class III and V permanent restorations
• Restoration of root caries lesions
• Cavity base

Content of the A3 Test Kit:

• 1 pot 5 gr of A3 colour powder
• 1 Can of 2.5 ml Liquid
• 1 pot 2 ml of Primer
• 1 canister 2 ml of Gloss Varnish
• 1 Mixing Block
