Uses and recommendations for Vidu Post Drill Burs:
- For safe clinical use, the use of goggles, mask and gloves is recommended; it is recommended that the patient wears protective goggles and a rubber dam is used to prevent the patient from swallowing the material or residues.
- Completely remove the gutta-percha and sealant from the canal to the required depth. A seal of 3-4 mm should be left to ensure the success of the treatment. Try to remove as little dentine from the canal as possible.
- Before use, check the degree of wear of the cutter, preferably using a magnifying glass or some kind of magnification.
- Insert the cutters, preferably at a reduction ratio of 2:1 or 3:1 into the workpiece. Make sure that the cutter has been correctly inserted and lock the workpiece head.
- Use the drills at low speed inside the canals (1500-3000 rpm), with water, cooling spray (>25ml/min) and gentle up and down movements, allowing chips and dentine to come out.
