Condensors are instruments that are used in dentistry to heat and soften the cones of the gutta-percha . It is instrumental stainless steel with a reverse helix design that was created by McSpoadden in 1978 to facilitate the endodontics of the dental piece to be restored. They are commonly designed to be used in conjunction with a micromotor .
