Description
Endodontic Files Vdw Zipperer Reciproc System
The RECIPROC® system offers three sizes of instruments for the preparation of different types of root canals. RECIPROC® instruments are ready for use in a sterile blister pack and are simply discarded after use. RECIPROC® is manufactured from M-Wire® nickel-titanium. The use of this alloy, produced by an innovative heat treatment process, results in increased cyclic fatigue strength. M-Wire® offers a higher level of flexibility and cyclic fatigue resistance than traditional nickel-titanium.
RECIPROC® instruments are marked with the ISO colour, which indicates the tip size of the instruments to allow easy identification.
- R25 prepares the root canal to a diameter of 0.25 mm with a taper of .08 in the first apical millimetres.
- Working length: 21 mm 25 mm 31 mm
- Depth marks at: 18,19, 19 and 20 mm 18,19, 20 and 22 mm 18,19, 20, 22 and 24 mm
Characteristics of endodontic files:
- Silicone bumper. The stopper, designed in the ISO colour corresponding to the tip size of the specific RECIPROC® instrument, facilitates a clear identification of the RECIPROC® instrument, when inserted into the contra-angle handpiece. The three points representing the three movements necessary to complete the 360° with reciprocal technique.
- Depth marks. RECIPROC® instruments have depth markings visible on radiographs at 18, 19, 20 and 22 mm.
- Mandrill. RECIPROC® instruments have a short 11 mm mandrel, which allows better access to the molars compared to many other instruments with a mandrel length of 13 mm or longer.
- The instruments are supplied ready for use, pre-sterilised in blister packs, and simply need to be discarded after use. This allows for a more efficient workflow, eliminates the need to clean and sterilise instruments, significantly reduces the risk of staff contamination and avoids cross-contamination between patients.
