Glycolon Rapidly Absorbed Violet Suture
Characteristics of monofilament sutures:
- Monofilament suture of copolymer of glycolic acid and poly(glycolide-co-caprolactone).
- For use on soft tissues mainly.
- Semi-disintegration after 7 days.
- The smooth, monophilic surfaces of the polymer make it easy to handle and slide.
- No encapsulation and tissue reactions during the decomposition process.
- Due to the monofilament structure there is no wicking effect.
- Excellent tolerance in the body.
- Color: violet and colorless.
