Absorbable Polydioxanone Synthetic Suture
Features of PDO sutures:
- Synthetic monofilament polydioxanone (PDO) suture.
- Indicated for general use in approximation of soft tissues and/or ligations, including ophthalmological processes, but not cardiovascular or neurological processes.
- Tensile strength: 65 to 75% during the first four weeks and 50-60% after six.
- Reabsorption at 180 to 220 days.
- Knotting security.
- Sterilized by ethylene oxide.
- Tip: TB-10 3/8 circular with 16 mm triangular tip and 5/0 caliber.
- Strand: length 45 cm purple color and metric 1.
- Contents: 12 units.
